In our workshop for this month we were told about the internships, that we had available to us. The teachers reminded us the requirements we needed to pass our CTE course, which was to take an internship, 30 community service and many other things as well.
      We have the chance to join the any of the internships that were listed (Isp, Future and Options' Financial Internship Program and their standard program. Having this gives us the chance to meet the standard to Pass with our CTE course. This will help us fill the requirements as well as get money to help us in our studies.

Diploma

    The differences between a regent's, advanced regent's diploma and cte endorsement are the following. The regent's diploma is when a student passes all the regent's for each subject. However, an advanced regent's diploma is when a student passes all his regent's for each subject but takes 3 regent's for common core math, 2 regent's for science. The cte endorsement is when a student is approved in a cte program that must meet alternative credit and assessment requirements. Cte endorsements make us not take a LOTE exam but the student has to take different tests to fulfill the regent.                The cte endorsement benefits us personally because we are not entitled to take any LOTE exam. We do not have to choose between electives because the cte covers up those classes.  We are getting college credits aside from our high school credits. We get to be first in line when we are getting our diploma's.

How is this course is preparing you for your future employment? Well this course is preparing me for my future by teaching me   valuable skills such as time management, teamwork skills, professionalism, networking skills, and communication skills. I have made friends who will most likely become successful in life. These friendships are useful for later on if I want a good job. I would know how to act in a  professional manner.
